We recently replaced our pair of 9 year old 9" HID driving lights on the nudge bar of our 2013 Subaru Tribeca with the pair of Striker Professional Edition LED driving lights. The lamps are a beautifully rugged and high quality product, the solid frame and built in mounting hardware are the best I found across all price-points in all brands. Just outstanding. The wiring assembly loom and - most importantly - the instructions for installing the kit were very straight forward and logical. On road lighting performance with the spot filters (stock items supplied with the kit) is superior to the 9" HID lamps previously fitted because the throw is similar (effectively making a pedestrian or kangaroo sized item identifiable on a dark unlit road at around 600M) but gives a much more diffuse beam which provides great kerb-side lighting for critters entering the roadway. This is the main gain for us, along with a much lower electrical circuit load with the high quality LEDS. The slim form factor of these lamp assemblies works well with the relatively slick front end of our SUV where a lot of the larger 4x4 style lamps are just aerodynamic brakes and look ridiculous on a road car. Likewise, they're so well built that I anticipate we'll be keeping these lamps well beyond our ownership of the vehicle they're mounted on. Nice work Lightforce, great value for money kit and one of the few world-class Australian made products available.

Very Bright, Well Constructed, Quite Compact

I purchased these Striker LED driving lights for added safety when driving on country roads at night. My stock high beams are acceptable for highway driving, but they do leave me wanting more when I travel on smaller country roads. These strikers are very bright and give lots of light off to the sides, even with the included spot filters. Distance is more than adequate, as I can see roughly 500m down a straight road before the light begins to fade out. Sometimes I do wish for slightly more distance and a tighter spot beam angle, but due to the compact nature of these spotlights, they are more than ample for the job. The colour temperature seems to be very nice too. The included wiring kit is also clearly labelled and very easy to set up, even for a beginner, although the difficulty of installation does of course also depend on each individual car. Overall, they are a very high quality, high-performance driving light especially when you consider their compact size.
