Good pants

I’m enjoying these. The soot color is deep gray and is true to what I see pictured. No issues in the washer or dryer. Size 4 works well for me. I appreciate the bit of stretch in the waist. I’m 5.2” and these are not cropped on me but I like where they fall at the ankle. Hope to get another pair when the price is right.

Unfinished Pockets

These pants are really comfortable and fit well but the pockets have issues. The front pockets are super shallow--like about the depth of your fingers so about 2.5" deep. They are finished nicely but they aren't really useful since they are so shallow. The back pockets have unfinished edges on the inside so they are unravelling and need to be trimmed after each wash. They might start coming off before the pants wear out.

not great

I love toad & co clothes & am a long-time customer. Now my sizing has changed and I have to buy a bigger size, also I'm a cyclist & have muscular hips/thighs but a smaller waist. The website advises to go up in size if you're in between sizes. I wore an 8 before but now am between a 10 & 12 - so I bought size 12 - and have to wear a belt, although the butt/thighs are comfy. The pants stretch a little as you wear them so I probably could have bought a 10, and they really aren't very flattering. Unfortunately I've worn them so can't exchange them but I wish I could.
