I ordered two Barrett Black 16 piece sets and they are absolutely gorgeous! They are thick and sturdy. The set is very modern and rustic looking at the same time. The web pictures are true to their color: Smooth black with white speckles on top surface, smooth solid black on underside surface of dinner plates and salad plates. Bowls and mugs are oRead more about review stating Gorgeous Setpposite with speckles on outside and solid black on inside. The rim is a dark gold to copper color depending on the light. I just love them and can't wait to have a dinner party in my new home. My order came in with some factory blemishes on a few pieces but none were broken as they were double boxed. Inside were individual boxes for each set types with padding in between each piece. Mikasa customer service was so wonderful to deal with and sent replacements to me in a timely manner. Don't hesitate to order from Mikasa. They stand behind their products 100%.

Beautiful

Haven't actually user them yet or put them in the dishwasher. I hand washed them & put them away. But I love the color & they feel/look like very high end dishes. Love the colors!!
