Muck Boots Apex Mid Zip Wellingtons

Bought these short boots to replace garbage squishy £25 boots which were average in comfort, made from soft perish in no time leak prone boots. Having chosen size seven, for size 7 1/2 feet had to take out really comfy insert to fit to feet. On reflection, would have been better to buy size 8 and put additional inserts in boots. At £150 a pair, half sizes should be an option ~ or supply with additional insert to cover for people with half sizes. Only use these for short periods and with the front zip this means they are easy to slip on and off and just use the velcro fastener at top of boots when slipping on for a couple of minutes. Waterproof, reasonably easy to pull zip is excellent. These boots will last for years, so great for all country pursuits, perhaps walking too as very sturdy comfy fit and warmvwith excellent grip, though not sure how they would fair with sweating etc. An absolute must for around the farmyard or stables. Traditional wellington boots become obsolete as soon as you make the expensive decision that you don't want to spend your life wearing ill fitting sloppy boots with layers of socks and end up with cold aching feet at the end of each day...

Great boots for walking in very wet conditions and it has been very wet the last few weeks. It can take days for my walking boots (Outer) to dry, but these boots are ready to go and feet dry every time since buying them. Slightly big sizing, I got the 9 and I am usually a 9.5. Good construction, well made and time will tell how well they last. Used for dog walking, but only when raining or ground very wet.
