Just purchased this jacket and I am impressed by the quality, I read many reviews prior to buying some said they find it makes them sweaty others said they find it cold without an under layer like a gilet, so which is it? Well I can confirm to wear something underneath does help with warmth but I find that with all jackets of this type I had a thin shirt and jumper under mine and I was out in heavy rain for a number of hours when I first wore it, I found it comfortable as well as warm and I was totally dry on my return home, the only criticism if you can call it that is it has elasticated inner cuffs and if the outer sleeve rides up which it does the cuff can get wet and this wets the sleeve of any jumper which can be annoying so I push the cuff higher up the sleeve out of the way going forward I might have them removed as I’m not a lover of inner cuffs, So conclude yes it’s a very good quality stylish product for every day use and practical for field work or walking, I have had many different makes of this type of jacket but for the money this is one of the best

A top quality coat , good fit and looks good, I still have to try it in the wet but I’m sure it will be ok like the other deer hunter products I use
