I love real wool, yet so many 'big' names are overpriced on their synthetics. Great quality, darker than expected and small for a LARGE, but fits me perfectly.

Where's me jumper?

Not quite a case of 'pure new wool and perfect stitches, not the kind that gives you itches' to quote the legendary Sultans of Ping FC but maybe that's just me. I bought this earlier in the year to replace a similar item from another manufacturer that cost around three times as much several years ago that I slightly overcooked in the washing machine and shrunk it to doll size. Is it a third as good? Not at all. This is the smarter side of Jack Pyke apparel, more squire than poacher and that extra layer for fresher mornings and cooler when a coat or jacket might be a touch too much. The kind of item equally suited and ideal for tasks around the estate, school runs, popping to the shops or propping up the bar. Little snug for my liking and first time I wore it I soon felt a little too warm, two factors that may have contributed to the prickly/itchy stitches. But again, that might just be me. Would I buy again? Certainly, but maybe a size up from my usual.
