Beer mat style souvenir

This great little patch, showing a plane over the Dambusters practice water, in a beer mat style, just hit the sweet spot with a WWII mad husband. It was in his homemade cracker and I sewed it on his Tilley hat ( popper bas inhibiting using iron on facility). He loves it. Reminds of a super holiday in the Peak District and a thoughtful gift from a beloved son.

Well detailed patch especially with the addition of the bomber commemorating the training runs for the bombing of the ruhr dams in ww11 Now sewn onto my rucksack and looks great.
