Graphite Ingot Molds

Totally adequate for most uses

These ingot molds are totally adequate for most hobbyists doing most casting. Plenty of lip on the mold to grab with tongs. Small size is good for some of CastMaster's furnace kits because you can stick the mold on top of the furnace as its burning to quickly bring the mold up to temp.

Great molds

I got a pair of these with the 10kg furnace kit. They have held up very well, the initial pair has poured about 300 ingots each (yes that really is 300) and still going strong. I am mostly working with aluminum so the heat level is not as high as with copper. I have currently poured about 50 bars of copper and around 1000 bars of aluminum. I added several more pairs of these molds to the operation because a 10kg furnace can melt faster then the molds can cool them. I also came back for more of these because I like to have all my bars the same size for easier storage.
