I tested my alpha vest out in ~30 degrees F. I went for a run and wore it over a midweight base layer and under a very light wind jacket. I was pleasantly comfortable throughout the run; not overheated at all. I am 5’ 146 lbs. and M fit well. It was a little long and did not fit over my hips. The drawstring made it alright as I was able to cinch and tuck the bottom under over my waist and be able to keep any draft out.
