Brown cake mascara

Based on another reviewers picture of this pigment painted on her hand in 3 samples: light, medium and dark I bought this. The picture made the light pigment look reddish brown - which doesn't suit me and the darkest painted pigment looked like a black-ish/ taupe-ish brown- which would look good on me, so I purchased it. Thus far, I have been unable to get the deep dark brown no matter how much pigment I get on the brush. The brown remains reddish no matter what. It has good staying power even with my droopy, well moisturized lids. Its a good product but I wish there would be a better description of the color on the website.

I love cake, mascara, and eyeliners. I feel like I have more control over the stuff and this one has not let me down. I really like how easy it is to work with.
