Mixed Feelings

This is my second bridal dress experience with Kennedy Blue and I was elated to recommend them for my sister's wedding. From prior experience, I knew I was going to size up. I ordered a size 8 since I was concerned about the extra inches on my hips and waist and it fits perfectly. What I didn't account for is the abdomen/corset part of the dress. It is very loose and I will need to have my seamstress take it in (in addition to making the dress shorter). The color (navy, but looks more like midnight blue) was a lot darker than I thought, but my sister likes it. The last surprising note is the "clasp" on the back. Its a very thin piece of fabric on the strap that secures itself onto the other strap. Concerned it'll come off but I will see what my seamstress suggests. Overall, I'd still recommend Kennedy Blue for bridal parties, just make sure the dress is sleeveless or the straps are thicker.

Beautiful dress

My wedding may be postponed due to the pandemic, but we still want to elope that day. There's a possibility I won't be able to get my wedding dress altered in time, and I wanted something bridal to wear. I bought the Caitlin in silver (all out of white dresses in my size!) from the in-stock options and it arrived in 2 days! I tried it on and it fits perfectly (make sure you follow their measurement guide), it just needs to be hemmed but I'm able to do that myself. It's a gorgeous dress, very comfortable to wear and light fabric.
