They don't ride up (no pun intended). Lots of cute mountain bike shorts will ride up when pedaling, which I find incredibly annoying, but these stay put. Customer service is also wonderful. I purchased shorts with liner but was accidentally sent just the trunks. I emailed customer service, got a quick response, and was promptly sent the liners.
