the merino wool blanket is exceptionally good quality. Thick, warm and soft to the touch. It is very generously proportioned for a single bed size ,hanging almost down to the carpet on all sides. Nylon satin ribbon edging lends a fine touch. But, all this comes at a price ! Not a cheap item !

Luxury Merino Wool Blanket

So hard to find a pure merino wool blanket sized for a double bed that doesn't have tassels. This one from Woods fit the bill perfectly. Beautiful satin edging all round. Great as an extra layer on the bed over a cotton sheet without being too heavy. Shame the pale pink was out of stock at the time of ordering, but the champagne colour is an excellent reserve choice. Hope to get many years of use from it. Thanks
