Drastic Quality Change

I've been drinking Good Vibrations every day for the past year. My experience has been that it is an excellent and highly consistent product - my favorite coffee. However, I received a new shipment from St. ALi recently (1kg), and this batch is manifestly different. At first I thought my brewing method might be to blame, but I've been weighing the exact same amount with the exact same grind and the same extraction method. Every cup I've had from this batch over the last two weeks has had the same two-dimensional flavour and lingering burnt aftertaste. It is not recognizable as the same coffee. I understand that it is impossible to control for all variables with a natural product and that there have been significant supply-chain issues in the coffee industry recently, but it feels dishonest to put the Good Vibrations label on any old bean and charge St. ALi prices. Just be transparent and let your customers know that the product is not currently available.

It tastes of chocolate

I could actually got the taste of chocolate - I always find the ways coffee is described interesting as I usually do not get the tastes - it is just coffee, but Good Vibrations lived up to the description.Italo Disco was my go to blend but I will be making GV my preferred blend.
