In July of 2021, I purchased my first two pairs of Charix shoes: a Red pair and a Graphite Suede pair. I wear the Red ones to parties, which my friends acknowledge as my regular fare. Since then I have purchased six other pairs in various colors. The suede Graphite pair are my everyday shoes.
I cook a lot, so I tend to have oils splatter and stain the shoes, which was a problem. To solve it I cleaned the leather with saddle soap and then treated them with Neatsfoot oil. This darkened the leather, but I have come to like it a lot. After all these years I still wear them every day and retreat them every month or so. Knowing that one day they will wear out, I lament the fact that you have removed the color from your catalog. Please bring them back.
