How to easily double or triple the range.

I was using a different and very capable SDR to track aircraft. It appeared respectable but its reach appeared to be limited. When I changed to the Pro Stick Plus the area reach literally doubled in size. In a few locations more than doubled. In a location where I am surrounded by trees I can now see the whole State and more. I expect it to improve as the leaves start to fall. I was able to view aircraft as low as 6000 ft at an airport around 30 miles from me with the original SDR. Now I see them as low as 400 ft. The change to this SDR was massive and beyond my expectations. I easily reach 100 NMI in alll directions with an exception in one area. I have seen it reach 150 NMI at a few points.

Great Receiver

My previous USB ADS-B stick failed as a result of a thunderstorm/lightning and power outage. I purchased the FA USB Stick + to replace it. It's operation is heads and shoulders above the performance of my previous usb stick. Before, the furtherest aircraft I could detect was around 150 NM. Now I am seeing consistently aircraft over 200 NM. Inaddition, the most aircraft I could detect was usually around 50. Now I consistantly can track over 130 aircraft at once...the most I have seen so far has been 155. The new ProStick is definietly a superiour device from 2 other sticks I have previously used. The preamp and bandpass filter have provideed a much better receiver.

Great ADS-B Setup

great small little dongle with the built in filter that is great, super simple setup and able to get data back without a lot of work. non technical people can get this going without too much trouble.
