The size of the Kawasaki Oil Filter 49065-0721 changed

The size of the Kawasaki Oil Filter 49065-0721 OEM has changed. It is now approximately 2/3 the size of the previous filter which results in less oil in the system. Previously the Kawasaki engine oil change called for 2.2 qts of oil now it needs less closer to 2.1 qts. I would hope the loss of filtering capacity still leaves this filter of handling whats needed. I am considering slightly less time between oil changes on my John Deere Z320R. My Parts Store did a great job getting me the 2 filters I ordered in a very fast time.
