They do require depinning the original male plug that goes into the original ignitor (which gets removed). Was dreading rewiring it but it was actually really simple, you don't even need to crimp anything. When you depin the original plug, the original wires fit straight into the supplied plugs as they're they same type of connector. You do need to get a resistor for the na6 for the tachometer reading to work properly. I used a 1k 0.5 resistor and works perfectly.
