The cookies we not protected and were broken. A cardboard box does not protect them from breaking. The cookies were hard and dry and very crumbly.
They didn’t seem to be fresh and the consistency of the texture. They seemed to have been frozen.
we tasted two of the cookies and threw the rest away.
