Watermelon Socks
As I knit my husband his watermelon socks we both laugh at how cute the self striping is the longer the sock becomes. I liked the watermelon so much I ordered two more of the fruit socks yarn.

I was so impressed with the feel and use of the yarn when my daughter and son-in-law bought me the blueberry yarn for mother's day that I had to buy more for myself. I am more than half-way through my second pair and still appreciate that this is one of the few yarns i have used that work to gauge for me.

My new favorite yarn!
I was unsure about working with such a fine weight yarn, or the colorway of them. I ordered banana, grape and pink grapefruit to use for a crochet pattern I wanted to try. I was nicely surprised at the quality and hues of the yarns I used to make my shawl. I would never have picked the combination myself, but following the pattern as directed, I have a beautiful shawl to wear.
