Metropolis with Handstrap Series iPad 10.2” (9/8/7th Gen) Case

My kiddo's iPad just Leveled Up!!

My son's 10th gen iPad had been protected in a molded case for 4 years when it got thrown off a 2nd story landing and survived the fall, but the case was retired with honors. However, I tried to reorder the same case and discovered the small business had since closed. I have been purchasing UAG protective cases for my iPhone since 2017 and loved the durability, ergonomics, style and value of their cases, so naturally I searched their website for a UAG case for the 2021 issued 10th gen iPad. The UAG Metropolis with handstrap lived up to my high expectations! It fits like a glove and as easy as it was to install, my son says it is impossible to remove - which I really appreciate with his younger brother trying to get into everything his big bro has. The placements of the cutouts are actually better than the molded case we had originally and my son says the camera is less rimmed by the case than previously. The handstrap clicks into place at 45 degree angles and is very useful. There is a way to tote your iPad pen to the tablet case, but be aware that it is not a molded feature, just an elastic strap but it is useful albeit won't protect your pen from a high fall - not that we tested it. Stylish and sleek with enough weight to feel legit while being light enough for my 10yo to game or do homework online for hours. We paired the case with a screen protector and both look seamless. I feel very confident that my son will come home with a fully intact iPad and case next summer vacay. Most certainly would recommend! Great company, excellent customer service and my go-to for new media cases!

Great Protection

Fits great. Doesn’t get in the way of speaker or power cord. Didn’t really need the strap on the back but for the price I can live with it. Protection level is what I expect from UAG. I’d buy it again.
