Beautiful but not for fine, thin hair

The look of this hair clip is beautiful and it appears to be durable. Unfortunately, while the description says it is designed to hold a small amount of hair, it did not hold in place on me. I have fine, soft, thin hair and the clip slid down no matter how much hair I grabbed with it. One problem seems to be the teeth on the underside of the clip which are too short to grip the hair properly. I ended up adding some rubber tubing to the bar to create a thicker bar and some resistance which allows me to use the clip on the back of my head. I had hoped to wear the clip on the side of my head but even with the rubber tubing on the bar, there is not enough grip to hold the clip in place. So, while beautiful, you need more hair than described for the clip to hold in place.
