• The Driftr roof rack from Backwoods is highly recommended due to its exceptional build quality, featuring robust crossbars and a sturdy backbone. • It includes all necessary components for installation, which typically requires approximately two hours. I eagerly anticipate acquiring their rock sliders as well. I am somewhat disappointed that the item is currently on backorder, a detail I overlooked at the time of purchase due to my enthusiasm.

Backwoods delivers again, rock-solid roof rack!

I recently upgraded to the Backwoods roof rack for my 4Runner and couldn’t be happier. The install was super easy, Backwoods has a clear YouTube video that walks you through everything step by step, making it super easy to follow. One of my favorite features is the extra clearance it provides above the roofline. That extra space made it so much easier to mount my rooftop tent compared to my old rack. I didn’t have to fight tight gaps or scratch up the roof. It also allowed for better airflow and made bolting in my GOFSR tent feel less like a workout. It’s noticeably more lightweight than my previous rack (which eventually failed), but still feels incredibly solid. I've tested it at high speeds and rough terrain, no wind noise, no rattling. I love that it looks clean and aggressive without being bulky. And bonus points for compatibility with my Rago panels! If you're looking for a rack that performs, installs easily, and holds up on the trails, this one’s a no-brainer.
