Beautiful dress but not the right fit

I bought this dress for my engagement party in my normal size and while it was beautiful and fit in general, the waist lace was firmer than expected and the length the only long enough to JUST cover my bum...the open back was a little too open. Unfortunately I had to send it back and find another dress elsewhere.
