When this product first came out I didn't really pay it much attention, then I watched the Tim Holtz live and learned about it's value. I now use his paints on pretty much everything, Paper, wood, clay, metal - if it sits still I'll paint it. Photo is of a switch plat cover I made from polymer clay for my bathroom redo. Don't have to worry about it every getting wet due the properties of the paint. You can paint it on other surfaces and still use the oxide inks and then use water to get all those fabulous effects. The paint will not react to water so it's a great base for your mixed media - just love it

Distress black paint

This black is wonderful on all mediums as its permanent and waterproof. You can use water spray on it while wet which causes unusual effects.
