Vibratory Pump Pulsor

Silvia V5 now much quieter

I was surprised how loud my Rancilio Silvia was. After fitting the Vibratory Pulsar, its about 75% quieter. It is a huge difference. I did not measure the sound before and after, but the difference is massive. removing the original 90 degree elbow from the pump required more force than I liked, but it was worth the effort. A great upgrade which makes the Siliva sound more premium.

I honestly expected it to make the pump almost silent but I had to take down my expectations. However, it definitely lowered a bit but most importantly it greatly reduced the harshness of the sound and made it more... Round and deeper in a non annoying way? If I can make an analogy would be like using an electric grinder that is quite sharp and intense noise wise and going to one that is still making sound but doesn't have that peak sharpness that can be quite harsh to the ear. It still makes noise but it's a lot more comfortable to use.
