Great tools, but needs replacement often

These are great for blending, and I have used them a lot over many years. But I find myself frequently purchasing these to replace old foams. It’s not even wear and tear from use, which I can understand the need for replacement, but something about the material in the foam will cause it to break down after some time (maybe a year or two) and then all the foam tools will have to be replaced.
