very cute but size up

I’ve been obsessing over this swimsuit for months and finally caved and bought it. it’s very very cute, looks great on, and the back is so flattering. the reason I gave 4 stars was because of the popping when I put it on. I am very petite, my curves are almost nonexistent. For reference, I’m 5’4, 115lbs, bra size 32C, waist 25 and hips 34. I measured myself twice before purchasing to make sure I got the right size because there are no returns or exchanges on sale items (I bought it on sale). My measurements were suited for an xs but I felt my gut tell me to size up just in case, and if it didn’t fit I’ll just grow into it at some point. this thing BARELY made it over my barely there hips. so much seem popping happened when trying it on and taking it off despite my very very cautious efforts. I’m hoping it holds up, especially considering I spent over $120 on it. it’s an adorable design but I am fearful it will fall apart because of the popping. I know the waist is supposed to be cinching and that detail is why I bought it but it could definitely be a tiny bit stretchier so people can pull it over their hips. all I can say is size up.

It’s the single greatest swimsuit I’ve ever had! Soooo flattering!
