Order a skeleton key for an antique hutch and it worked so I ordered 2 more. Thank you

I wish it was really solid brass

The key itself is the correct size and looks nice, but it is not solid brass. When you cut it for the locks it clearly shows the underlying metal.

Search for the right key

I needed a key for a 125-year old cabinet lock. I looked carefully at all of the keys offered on your web site/catalog to select one that best matched the dimensions I needed. The site provided critical measurements for the different keys but with a disclaimer that the dimensions were approximate. I decided to purchase three different keys that most closely matched my lock. The two smaller keys matched some of my lock's dimensional needs, but not sufficiently to operate the lock. The third key, the Large Brass Plated Hollow Barrel Skeleton Key, fit into the lock but was too large in two dimensions to rotate in the lock. I carefully ground down the overly-large portions of the key and it now works fine in the lock.
