unbelievable clarity! First thing you notice is the distinction off all parts of the music. At the same time it doesn’t break it into pieces but makes everything more listenable. If you choose you can hone in on a particular instrument for your listening focus but its very easy to take everything in and enjoy the MUSIC! They could be considered a little on the bright side but that is easily adjusted with your DAP equalizer(I’m using a Cayin N7+). Regarding comfort these are one of the few IEM’s that actually fit in your ears not sticking out like an appendage. Easily fitted via the various eartips provided. Couldn’t be more delighted.

The IE 900 is fantastic

These are excellent IEMs. The sound is so natural, coherent, and powerful. I hear tactile bass lines in songs that I’ve never heard before. The bass is so accurate and detailed, and never boomy and bloated. As a previous long-term owner of multiple versions of the Andromeda as well as the U12T, I honestly think the IE900 are better (and I loved both of those). The IE900 scales really nicely too. They can be run very competently from an apple dongle, or from a DAP (I use the Sony WM1Z). They also sound fantastic from my Headamp GS-X Mini. The *only* consideration with these is to make sure one of the stock Sennheiser tips fit/seal well. I’ve tried them with multiple Spinfits, JVC Spiral Dots, Comply, and Xelastics, but the original Sennheiser tips are, by far the best sound.
