Gen 2 F150 Raptor Intake Review

It’s fine. I wasn’t expecting and power gains and cannot imagine there were any. Thought I would maybe get a little more intake sound but do notice any difference from stock. I really bought this to hopefully get a slight MPG increase, time will tell on that. It looks good other than the arrow design on the intake tube. I think it would look great without that. When they say do not overtighten the screws on that clear plastic intake window, they mean it. I do not believe I overtightened it by any means and after the first trip around the block the plastic was cracked in two corners. Put the Loctite on and just barely snug up those screws. Overall if I get any kind of MPG gain I will be satisfied.

Wow what a difference this unit made on my 2.7l eco boast. Amazing I should have done this along time ago. I have not had it on Long enough to see the gas benefits yet but from a performance and power perspective, it’s awesome.
