crazy thick and bulky

The socks are more like scuba diving slippers. Very surprised by how thick and bulky they are. They are not going to work for me.

Not really waterproof

I would call these water-resistant, not waterproof. Stepping in a puddle as the ad photo shows—or even in the shower—gets my feet wet.

Impressive design and quality

I purchased the socks out of curiosity and I am glad I did. I am sure at some point they will be very useful.They come in a little stuff sack,light enough and small enough to be packed for hiking/camping ready to use if the need arises.
