Overall great - better than disposables

My baby is now 10 weeks old and we have been using these and Thirsties all natural newborn all in one diapers since we brought her home from the hospital. The overall experience compared to the few times we've used disposables on her has been fantastic. The poo is definitely well contained in the Thirsties diapers. The fit is great right now, and my baby is tiny (still under 10 pounds), so I think we'll be in this size for a while! We have 22 diapers and that lasts us a full 2 days, so we wash every other day. The washing has been very easy, and this time of year we have been able to line dry most days. The sun really does help remove any stains! That said, the downfalls of these diapers are 1) the leg gussets aren't truly tight enough for a newborn, so we had some leakage early on (she was 7 lb 8 oz so well within the range for these diapers), 2) the all natural diapers (but not these I'm reviewing) stain easily, and 3) she has more frequently been getting so wet at night, and sometimes during the day, that the wetness seeps through the outer layer. I did run the diapers in the dryer on a hot cycle since getting them to try to reseal the PUL, but I'm not sure it has helped. I think I'm really going to need to get the newborn size soaker pads so I can avoid changing her footy, swaddle, and sheets almost every night now.

These AIO are buttery soft on the inside, fit great, and we never have leaks. The designs are super cute as well.
