Soy Wax For Candle Making

I recently purchased 1 kg of soy wax, a roll of candle wick and a pack of wick anchors, and prepared four large candle using recycled glass jars from our kitchen. I made the candles to place in our home-made 'hot house', where we keep our cold-sensitive, subtropical bonsai during the winter. On several recent cold nights, I ignited a candle inside a larger, cylindrical glass container on the floor of the hot house to shield the flame from any breeze. Because of the slow-burning feature of the wax, one 250-g candle has burned for 12 hours on each of two nights and has at least the equivalent burning time remaining. The supplies for my project arrived within two days of my placing the online order.
