Chrysanthemums In November

While I like the towel material and prints, as usual, I was disappointed to find that the stitching at the hem is different on all towels. I usually spend quite a bit when shopping here, because I buy gifts and seasonal items. But I won't be doing that going forward. The hem changes the quality of the towel both practically and aesthetically. The towels are much more likely to unravel far earlier in the wash than they would if the hem was more substantial like before. Now they are sewn much more like the bulk towels available by bag at home improvement stores but with a far larger price tag per towel. Please see pics. Why did you all change the hem?

I love the colors in this towel. I have found that I like to exchange the tea towels and hand towels to match the colors I am using. They are all so wonderful, very absorbant and fast-drying!!
