Optogate PB-05 M IR Mic Mute Switch and Automatic Vocal Noise Gate

The Optogate button was broken

This is the 3rd time i have ordered from Optogate and 2 out of the 3 times i have bought something there has been some kind of issue. this time the button that bypasses the Optogate is stuck on. making the Optogate useless

It works BUT...

The actual system works well, but they have used the worlds cheapest materials. The female XLR immediately wants to break off and the faceplate is held on with plastic rivets that you can pull off with your fingernails. I am now trying to figure out how to glue this onto an SM58 so it won't snap off.
