Ultimate Brush Toolbox – Oil Brushes

Good brushes

I bought the brushes having tried a free sample pack of a few brushes from the Ultimate Brush Toolbox and having seen tutorials by Nathan using the brushes. I would say that his brushes are always well designed and the structure of the brush set makes it easy to see what they are for. However, there are a lot of brushes and it is typical that in the tutorials, even Nathan only uses a few of them, Encaustic Wax being a favourite, so there's lots of them I've never really used. Like any brush set it can be difficult to know how to get the best from it without being shown and perhaps it would be a better experience for me personally if I knew how to use traditional oil paints and how they should work. I think for other people they will be fantastic.
