While being a stylish addition to my Mom's kitchen, it is also very safe. We decided to get rid of the hassle with her previous throw rugs - the non-skid mat always showing and sometimes tripping at the edge. These new low profile rugs are just as described; the door opens perfectly and also protects her wood floor in front of the refrigerator.

I super love my new door mat!! I bought it to match my AMAZING leopard runner!! Both are easy to spot clean and handle my vacuum quick -clean- up very nicely. My only downfall is that the color/ texture of the the mat is not as profound as the runner. They are defiantly not from the same color/ dye lot. Again , both are great but I suggest buying all your pieces at the same time because added pieces to your collection are not guaranteed to match.

It is the best. I've had so many rugs. This is easy to care for, looks great, to stays flat. I wish I could get a bigger size that is in between the two sizes offered.
