The same but different

I had one of the original mice when they were first introduced and used it for years, I use a mouse mainly for fine grain movement and swiftpoint excels at facilitating that being very natural and intuitive to use. I only replaced it because it was taken. The replacement Tracpoint is identical though my muscle memory tells me its different. For those that are use to the original, the middle finger rest area is more curved, resulting in the middle finger resting either further back or forward (avoiding the middle section that bows outward). Resting further back is less natural (to me) while resting further forward result in the middle finger pushing against the scroll knob (I'd rather not know its there till I need it). Have no trust or confidence in the shipping company. But definitely rate the product.
