De Atramentis Document Ink Dark Blue

Like black with a hint of blue

This is my first DeAtramentis Document Ink, and won’t be my last. I prefer dark blue inks to medium blue inks, and this ink fits the bill perfectly. This is a wet ink—if you typically use a medium nib, try it in a fine nib. I have dedicated a Platinum Procyon F to this ink, and the line width is comparable to average flow inks in a M nib. In the Procyon F, this ink is smooth on Midori MD and Life Noble paper. If you have used Noodler’s 54th Massachusetts, this ink provides a comparable writing experience.
