Just what I wanted!!
This is really so amazing. I wanted a nutty and woody scent that wasn’t gourmand and this is it. It is really atmospheric and is a great combo of a slightly sweet nut and a fresh wood. Just poured my testers and can’t wait for them to cure!

Smells so great! Top 5 for me.
This smells great in the coconut apricot creme wax! Also will be fabulous in melts, lotions, beard oils, and scrubs. Ordering a bigger bottle now. You can really smell the chestnut, caramel, woodsy, etc. One of my top 5 oils.

Tested in Cold Process Soap
I want to start with sharing that I am a CP soapmaker and recently started looking for a company that offers great pricing and has products that can double for both candles and cold process soap. That being said, I have decided to offer reviews on products that I am currently testing in CP soap. The reason for this is because I am INCREDIBLY happy with pricing and shipping for fragrance oils offered by Hive and Honey! I have made several orders in the last month. General thoughts on the fragrance: This is an AMAZING fragrance! I received a sample wax melt and loved the crisp scent in the room and I only used the one sample sent in my purchase. The fragrance goes a LONG way! The fragrance drew the attention from friends and family visiting over the holidays. 5 stars on the fragrance! Review in CP soap: Again this fragrance holds strong in CP soap! It behaved very well with no ricing, and no acceleration in the soap batter as I was stick blending. I decided not to add color to the soap but did add coffee grounds for exfoliation. After unmolding, there is some discoloration in the soap. It had a light yellow hue but that could also be from the coffee grounds. This by no means was a deterrent for me, as is the case with some fragrance oils and as a soap maker, we can get creative with use of titanium dioxide to help with evening out the color. The discoloration is really very mild and very much manageable. As a soap maker, I am always looking for whether or not the fragrance accelerates and rices. We can use the discoloration to our advantage and always add TD to the batter to adjust the color, if we so chose. I'd give this FO 4.5 stars but that is not an option so I am giving it 5 stars given that it really does well in CP soap, smells amazing, the soap gives off a WONDERFUL throw in my workspace. Again, the only thing to consider when using this FO, is that it will discolor slightly. I hope this helps other folks in the CP soaping world!
