Late delivery of Christmas pressies

My experience was poor as ordered 2 x collapsing cups in what I thought was enough time to receive by Christmas - on 12/12 so that’s 8 business days prior - but they didn’t arrive in time for Christmas. I had to chase up where they were a few days prior- the tracking info said they’d arrive on Friday (nope). . The staff communicating the issue were polite once I contacted the firm and did their best, but the fault was not with them. They did say that there were issues due to the time of year which is rubbish as I’m almost certain that we have Xmas every year. What they are told to say no doubt. No point in getting upset with folks in Phillipines etc. The cups turned ulp the following Tuesday. They are very nice cups. I notice in AB’ online reviews that they usually receive either 5 stars or 1 stars. Which is interesting… One comment in a 1-star review is they use Aramax for freight and these people are poor performers. I looked at Aramax user reviews and found they have almost entirely 1-star reviews. Beyond interesting. Getting the cups late for Christmas was not the end of the world but I don’t trust this firm and won’t use them again - I could hack the lateness but not the “it’s the time of year/ our partners are very busy” excuse. Serves me right for not checking up on the reviews before ordering. First world problems hey?
