Beautiful dress very pretty however if you are curvy and short this dress will not work I had to order a bigger size and it still wasn't big enough definitely for a slim person. I was going by the sizing also. The Hem is very scalloped so if you hemmed it you would lose that prettiness of it. Will definitely try a more a line gown some other time.

Its beautiful. I’m not a model so there are places where it could fit better like the shoulder to waist… im not long waisted. The thing to know is the beautiful scalloped bottom and long zipper means a professional seamstress has to shorten it. (I suppose if you pay $700 for a gown maybe the extra hundreds wouldn’t matter but it does to me!) so i bought 4” platform shoes that are cute and wont really show 🤣for $36 on amazon. Mother of the Bride… and its a gorgeous dress.
