Not the best shoes for value

I love white shoes. I bought these on a whim to try a new brand and hoped to find my 'forever shoe' after losing the original Adidas NMDs to their new mesh fabric. Now I think I have to keep searching. At a few hundred dollars for these APLs, I'd have liked to see APL have a more generous exchange policy, and I think the shoe doesn't "wear" the same after trying them in store. I would definitely go down a half size if given the option.
