I purchased a book from Assouline's website, and when I paid automatically through Venmo, it used my old address. I noticed the mistake immediately I called and emailed customer support right away. They responded within a few hours, but they told me they were no longer able to change the address. I waited for the shipment to be processed and contacted the courier once the book was on its way. However, the courier informed me that, as the recipient, I couldn’t make any changes to the delivery address—only the shipper could do that. I reached out to customer support again, asking for help, but they said there was nothing they could do. They didn’t make any effort to assist me in resolving the issue.
It was an absolute ordeal. Eventually, I managed to retrieve the package because another tenant at my old address opened the door for me. While the book’s cover was beautiful, I found the photos inside to be quite underwhelming. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.
