Great concept to solve a common issue. Easy to install, time will tell if they hold up.

Seem to work OK

Used as an alternative to the type of plasterboard fittings that expand within the gap behind the plaster - I believe these will be more reliable both at fitting and staying put in the long term so long as there is a solid wall behind/dot dab as they are designed for. Seems to take a decent hold once installed, and I was somewhat surprised just how easy it was to drill into our block walls(!) Only really issue is how large the diameter is, both in meaning the head of the screw is relatively large for some applications (only just squeezed into the curtain track fittings we had) and that the diameter of the holes required can take up relatively large amount of space (drilled holes almost merging together if attaching a small fitting that requires 2 screws like I was in once case). In fact in the latter scenario I trimmed a little of the red "lip" from the plastic to allow the two neighboring fixings to sit flush, closely together.
