In my humble opinion, the best time to get acquainted with your long term, food storage is before you find yourself needing it. Today, I did just that and baked a loaf of Ready Hour Honey Wheat Bread. I added a spoonful of honey to the mixing bowl because well, the sweeter the better, at least for me. I didn't know what to expect but my, my, my, it's good, especially warm with a buttered top. It's a denser loaf with a little lower rise, that absolutely satisfies. Sweet for breakfast or as part of a savory sandwich, I'm thrilled!

Pretty tasty

I bought several cases of this bread. It isn't like your typical bread from the grocery store, but more like a banana bread that you might make from scratch. Texture is much more dense. I've been making a loaf every week. Slap a little butter on it and you're good to go. Even without the butter it tastes good.
