Fair weather tab

The kangaroo leather is great. I think the tab is too thick. I removed the middle leather. I find that the ring separator is clumsy. It is too wide. None of the other tabs I shoot provide a separator anywhere near as wide. I find it hard to wrap my fingers around the bow string without modification of the tab. I’ve never found a tab that didn’t need to be trimmed. Especially the length of the leather provided. I also find the length of the large tab i ordered is equivalent to other tabs medium. I’ve been shooting since 1970 hair and felt tabs were very common and required no break in. I have made tabs using hair (aae hair); and felt from grainger. . 3/32 thickness works best.
