Bearpaw Fast Flight Flemish Recurve Bowstring

I received the string with several loose threads. When I placed it on the bow to configure it, the string kept falling apart. It doesn't seem like bad quality, maybe just poorly made. I don't trust it.

It's a string!

I've got three of these now. Well made, came with a decent coat of wax, and is very, very stable once broken in with 50-75 shots. Serving was the right size for Gold Tip .246 knocks and seems to be holding up. Not a whole lot more you'd want from a string. I would note I got two different colors - the two strings I ordered for a 62" bow were both black, while the one I ordered for a 58" bow was dark brown and black. Both colors are subdued enough work just fine for my needs, which are 3D target shooting and hunting.
