I'm not sure why my Beiter long plunger did not come with the longer plunger nut when I bought it, but it is definitely worth getting. I bought a long plunger (not knowing- thinking I can get it to work on any riser), and this looks so much better than having an extra 5/16-24 nut or a stack of washers under the short plunger nut to get the centershot I want. With the longer plunger nut and an AAE Free Flyte Elite, I can get a slightly inside centershot on a Spiga BB riser (Gen 1) if necessary without adding other parts to the plunger threads.
